Scholarship Award Amounts

The US2GH Scholarship Initiative offers varying levels of financial support, ranging from partial to full coverage of tuition and living expenses. The determination of the award amount is based on a holistic assessment of each applicant's financial need, academic performance, choice of school and program, and the potential impact of their studies on their home country.

  • Financial Need: A thorough evaluation of the applicant's financial situation is conducted to determine the level of support needed. This is assessed through the documentation provided during the application process, including income statements and financial hardship affidavits.

  • Academic Performance: Applicants with exceptional academic records may receive greater financial support as a testament to their dedication and potential to succeed at a higher educational level.

  • Choice of School and Program: The relevance and prestige of the chosen educational institution and program play a crucial role. Programs directly benefiting the development of the applicant's home country or those in critical fields such as healthcare, engineering, or technology may be prioritized for higher funding.

  • Potential Impact: Consideration is given to how the applicant's education will contribute to their country. Scholarships may be more substantial for students whose studies and future career plans are aligned with significant developmental needs or innovation areas within their home countries.
